Questions, answered
Do you install screened-in porches?
Yes. We install screened-in porches and repair screens on existing ones.
Should my deck be stained, sealed or painted?
It depends on the wood and how you use the deck. We do all three, plus refinishing, and help you choose.
Can you repair damaged boards?
Yes. Deck repair is part of the work, and we do it before any new finish goes on.
Do you pressure wash decks?
Yes. Pressure washing removes dirt, mold and mildew, and it is the first step before staining or painting.
What affects the price?
Every estimate is written for your home, and these are the things that move the number:
- The size of the job: square footage, how many rooms or stories, and how high the ceilings or walls go.
- The condition of the surfaces, and how much scraping, repair and primer they need.
- Wood that has to be repaired or replaced before painting.
- How many colors, and whether trim, doors or cabinets get their own.
- How much there is to protect: furniture, floors or landscaping.
- Access, such as tall walls, steep yards or tight spaces that take extra setup.
For decks, the size, the condition of the boards and the finish you pick make the biggest difference.
After the estimate you get a written price, so you know the number before any work starts.
